AL MUNTADA, net-zero carbon 400-square-meter space built over a 2,200-square-meter land will showcase the latest Innovations of Saint-Gobain in light and sustainable Construction. namely the lightweight façade system, internal partitions and acoustic ceilings from Gyproc, acoustic and sustainable decorative flooring systems from Weber, pre-insulated lightweight HVAC ducts, Best performant acoustic ceilings tiles and seamless acoustic ceilings, high performance glass which provides high light and visibility by using Saint-Gobain Glass, fire resistant and safety glass, Safety films on glass from Solar Gard and sustainable cast iron draining pipes from Saint-Gobain PAM. The Photovoltaic panels used are also generating 20% more energy than what is required to operate the building. Using the latest technology of smart glass in its construction, AL-MUNTADA offers a unique Feel, Hear, See, Breathe experience. This space also features a digital and physical solutions library, a learning center that will target improving the technical awareness in the construction. Masdar City, the hub of sustainability, was naturally selected to be the home of this energy positive building.
